Neighbor Connect is a functional connection of one neighbor’s skill to another neighbor’s need through databasing and categorizing the services volunteers can offer our community.
Today when people are struggling, they often turn to impersonal bureaucratic systems for help. Not that long ago, neighbors were the first to respond to need in their communities. We believe it should be like that again. It's why we created Neighbor Connect.
If you would like to use your skills and gifts, please join us in meeting the needs and blessing those in the Joplin community and the surrounding areas. We will contact you periodically when someone comes to us with a need that fits your abilities and schedule.
David and his Lawn Care Specialists have done it again. They helped an 86 year old woman on hospice get her house and yard in order. She was so appreciative of the assistance! Me too! David and friends, thanks for being Jesus' hands and feet!
Roof Repair
Jeffery and his wife, Debbie, visited with Sandra and made the repair. Thank you to them, both, for helping and connecting with Sandra!
Sandra is a single 70 year old woman in need of a repair to the roof on the porch of her trailer. It's a 12 x 12 area that she believes needs a "coat of rubber" painted on. She has the materials. Even an assessment would be helpful.
