Neighbor Connect is a functional connection of one neighbor’s skill to another neighbor’s need through databasing and categorizing the services volunteers can offer our community.
Today when people are struggling, they often turn to impersonal bureaucratic systems for help. Not that long ago, neighbors were the first to respond to need in their communities. We believe it should be like that again. It's why we created Neighbor Connect.
If you would like to use your skills and gifts, please join us in meeting the needs and blessing those in the Joplin community and the surrounding areas. We will contact you periodically when someone comes to us with a need that fits your abilities and schedule.
Thank you Scott from Christ's Church of Joplin for helping James get moved into his wheelchair and ready for his doctor's appointment. He would have had to cancel without someone coming to his aide. Thanks again for taking time out of the work day to help!
Thanks Donnie, Zechariah, Brian, and Joe for helping Pat fix his water pipes under his house. Now, he can get his water turned back on. What a big blessing all four of these men are. Thanks again guys!
A big thanks to Charlie from First Baptist in Neosho, for taking a client to a medical procedure at the hospital in a time crunch. They were thankful for his desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a time of need. Thanks Charlie for answering the call!
Thank you Madaline from High Street Christian Church in Neosho for taking Linda to a medical appointment. She was appreciative of the ride, but was more excited about the new found friendship that day. Thanks again, Madaline!
