completed project: window repair

Joan is a widow who has come to us in need of window repair. Take a look at the photos and you'll see the rotten window sills. Don't let this problem worsen. Please call us if you think you can help Joan out! Update: Thanks to Calvary Baptist for a job well done!

completed project: moving help

Sally is a single lady who lives in Joplin but needs to move to Neosho. Why'd she call Watered Gardens, you ask? Well, many like Sally not only don't have the muscle to move furniture, but no truck, either. How ‘bout it? Is there a church out there with two Christians and a truck?

Update: Woohoo! Thanks Wildwood Baptist. Thanks for being the way God provided for this sweet lady.

completed project: wheel chair ramp

Tracy has cerebral palsy and lives with her mother. Her physical therapy has progressed her to walking versus a wheelchair. She needs her ramp moved and railing installed at her steps. She's ready to walk! Take your choice… move a ramp or install railing. Be a part of this fantastic success story.

Update: Thanks to you, Peace Lutheran for providing the help to move the ramp to Andrew's house (see below) and thanks to another brother for helping with the railing.

completed project: plumbing

Carol is married to Wallace, a pastor of a small church. As you know, servant leaders are humble people. And Wallace demonstrated just that when he and his wife contacted us for help with a plumbing need at their house. It requires a back hoe, not something they've got just sittin' around. But knowing that we're called to help the household of faith, surely someone in the Kingdom will arise to the challenge.

Update: Joplin Family to the rescue again! Thanks for taking care of this and way to demonstrate unity!

completed project: general cleaning

Have things ever just gotten away from you? It's so easy, especially if your health is declining. Mary is such a lady. She's disabled and has multiple needs including lawn care, interior house repair, general cleaning and organization. With enough hands, we believe Mary can get help catching up. Pitch in!

Update: Thank you First United Methodist Church and others for helping Mary in her time of need!

completed project: car repair

Mark is 25 years old. He recently gained his drivers license. He has a 1997 Dodge Intrepid that is need of various repair. Mark has saved to purchase the necessary parts. He is hoping someone would give him a hand with the repair work. He needs transportation to keep a job. Can you put in a water pump?

Update: Thank you to a brother in the Lord! One of the mechanics in our database of volunteers was flat out of time. But he wasn't flat out of heart! He donated the money to have Mark's car repaired. Bless you!

completed project: lawn care

Mary is physically disabled and can't care for her lawn through the summer. She is one of more that will come to our door as the weather warms up. Lawn care is always a big need through the summer and one that many can't afford to hire out. Will you consider signing up for a few lawn mow jobs through the summer?

completed project: lawn mowing job

Ofelia is a 64 year old lady recently widowed. She needs help this summer with a lawn mowing job. We would love it if a small group might adopt her for the summer like one church place did for Mary (see below). Please consider this wonderful way to minister to a sweet lady in need. God tells us clearly that this is your job, church!
